It’s going to be the romantic date concert of the season as former Westlife front man Shane Filan returns to the Philippines for his first solo major concert.

The much awaited concert happening on October 1, 2014 at the World Trade Center Manila is part of Shane’s ongoing You & Me World Tour to promote his debut album.

From the biggest hits of his former group, songs from his debut album and some of the most requested tunes from his fans, Shane promises there’s going to be a favorite for everyone in the crowd.

“I know a lot Filipinos are romantic so I’ve prepared a list of songs that’s going to make you sing, dance and fall in love again,” he said.

Shane also hinted about doing a few covers of some classic love songs and teased about an unexpected mashup that will surprise even his long time fans.

This will be Shane’s first ever major show in Manila after the Irish Boyband’s sentimental farewell tour back in 2011.

Last year, Shane came back to Manila to promote his Everything to Me EP and promised all his fans to come back for a solo concert and share his debut album.

The new album is dominated by up-tempo and mid-tempo songs, a reflection of his own record collection, mixing pop, soul, country and even a hint of traditional Irish music. It has also been well received by fans and critics who described as a “progression from Westlife’s sound… the end result is a collection of adult contemporary songs that mix a variety of musical styles.”

Shane revealed that he took inspiration from the likes of The Lumineers, Train and Mumford & Sons when writing and recording the album.

"I got off to a really good start, Shane said adding, “Everything to Me felt like beginners' luck, but I didn’t know how good it was. Then the label were phoning, going "This is great!" I’d shown to myself I could do this and that took the pressure off.”

The album features writing credits and production from the likes of Steve Mac, Wayne Hector, Nick Atkinson, Paul Barry, Cass Lowe, Patrick Mascall, Kylie Sackley, Brandon Hood and Martin Terefe, who has also produced songs for big name artists such as Lana Del Rey, Enrique Iglesias, LeAnn Rimes, Faith Hill and Jason Mraz.

Having Sleepless Nights?

No matter how hard you worked the whole day, it's always best to have a very good night sleep after the hard day's work.

One factor that may give you a pretty good night sleep is the quality of your foam mattress. The right mattress can really help one have a good night's sleep and wake up feeling rested and refreshed. Sleeping on the wrong mattress can cause sleeplessness, back pain, and overall aches and pains. For people with a back problem, a mattress that isn't a good fit can make the pain worse.

When searching for the best mattress, it is important to remember that mattresses are largely a matter of personal preference. There is no single type of mattress or bed that works well for all people, and there is no best mattress for back problems. Likewise, there is no single sleep position known to be best for all people.

AISAKU: Captures the hearts of his Pinoy Fans in his ‘ALAALA MO’ Music Video!

After the successful release of his carrier single ‘IKAW PA RIN’ (popularized by Ted Ito), Pure Japanese Singer AISAKU YOKOGAWA proudly unleashes his equally strong follow up track culled from his Ikaw Pa Rin album entitled ‘ALAALA MO’ (Saigo No Ame), another melodic remake of a Ted Ito original.

With "Alaala Mo", Aisaku showcases his flair for the Tagalog language; pronouncing words more vividly, understanding every phase and  applying just the right kind of emotion to its lyrics. Despite being a true blooded Japanese, Aisaku emerges and proves that his mastery of the Filipino language has developed. Over the past several years that he's been performing along side OPM icons, Aisaku seems to have adapted more of the Pinoy Culture and as he would term it, he's become more PINOY-ish now especially when he sings a particular Tagalog song. He sounds way better now that he did a few years ago. Aside from his ability to sing OPM,  Aisaku has also learned to embrace the most common Pinoy habits like taking a selfie using a selfie pod, and taking pictures of every ‘"ulam" he eats. He also revealed that his current favorite song is Davey Langit’s ‘The Selfie Song’. Aisaku admits that he owes this to his great mentors and he wouldn't have done it without their guidance. He is truly grateful to his colleagues and friends in the industry namely Rannie Raymundo, Dulce, Arthur Manuntag, Jerwin Nicomedez, Thor Dulay, Jeanne Vicars, Skarlet among many others.

Aisaku is more than elated that Alaala Mo enjoyed heavy spins on radio. In fact, he's very thankful to the radio jocks and staff who have been very supportive to his career as a singer. As a token of gratitude to his supporters and fans, Aisaku recently launched the official music video of Alaala Mo, which can now be seen on YouTube, MYX and MTV Pinoy. The video effectively depicts the exact emotions of Aisaku at the time of the shoot. It captures his melancholic and more serious side as he just got his heart broken before the actual video shoot. According to Aisaku, he did not have a hard time recording the songs in this particular album, in fact he did it with so much ease mainly because the songs are very relatable especially to Pinoys who are sentimental/emotional by nature. Each track elicits a strong sense of loneliness since the lyrics are heartfelt and sincere.

Aisaku's dedication as an OPM act remains unparalleled and this is evident through his music and in how he performs on stage. He always tends to please his crowd and meets his audience's expectation.

At this point, Aisaku is gearing up for yet another exciting phase in his career. He will soon be launching his upcoming original tracks ‘‘IMADEMO AISHITERU’ (composed/written by Rob Evangelista) and Aisaku’s original composition, ‘DAIJOBU DAKARA ~kaya pa naman~’ poised to dominate the radio airwaves soon!

Grab a copy of AISAKU’s debut album ‘Ikaw Pa Rin’, featuring the much loved hits IKAW PA RIN and ALAALA MO, produced by Janet Ito, released under i&i records and distributed by

Universal Records. IKAW PA RIN  is also available on iTunes, OPM2GO, and in all record bars nationwide.
